a step beyond cooking

What sets Dine Snob apart? Bella goes deeper than just cooking. Bella meticulously reads & researches labels to avoid purchasing foods with harmful chemicals and undesirable ingredients. She prioritizes local, in-season produce, sourcing the freshest, highest-quality produce and proteins.  Clean eating is Bella's priority and it shows in every meal.

Carefully sourced

Quality is an absolute must. Hence the name "Dine Snob." From farm-fresh, local produce to free-range eggs, and wild-caught seafood, every ingredient is hand-picked to ensure it is au naturel & tasty. Bella is open to suggestions of uncharted, fine, imported goods & specialty shops; and outstanding butchers, local farms.

Iron, ceramic, copper

Bella's bakeware & cooking vessels prioritize health by using non-reactive cookware; ceramic, Romertofp & Donabe clay; stainless steel, copper, and iron. Delivered meals are placed in re-usable BPA FREE plastic containers...each one lined with unbleached parchment paper (as a barrier between the plastic and food.)

 Mystery ingredients

Mysterious food additives, unusual canned & packaged ingredients take time to research, but no one wants to eat bleach, plaster of Paris, or human hair. And while we associate Fast Food with danger- don't be lulled into thinking danger isn't on the shelves at your favourite grocer.  P65 warning labels are on food & even home goods everywhere, including Home Sense, Home Depot etc.

Who uses Dine Snob services?

Dine Snob is for health-conscious individuals – from vegans to carnivores – who are too busy - or just don't know how to cook. Whether you're a single, professional, a couple, a family, or in need of meals for the elderly, Dine Snob is at your door.

a tasty forecast

Imagine a week of delicious, healthy meals for two, covering four workdays - lunch and/or dinner.

Our plans often include 2 lbs of baked sweet potatoes, 2.5 lbs of wheat free, extra-lean meatloaf (made with flax); and 3 lbs of lean, air-chilled, skinless, boneless chicken breasts barbequed or baked in a clay oven.

Each week features two distinct meat dishes, 2 vegetable dishes and one - two starch  dishes; ensuring variety and balanced nutrition. (Customized menus available.)

Taking the time to care

Many people struggle with understanding food labels or finding time to investigate ingredients. They grab & go chemical-filled condiments & food off the shelf. It's a shame. They cook with chemical-leaching aluminum, and non-stick coated pots & pans. They wrap their food & bake it in aluminum foil - not even realizing the dangerous health issues this is causing. Many suffer from food sensitivities like IBS and Celiac disease. While Bella isn't a certified health practitioner, she strives to analyze and minimize, food sensitivity triggers not only with the food itself but also the cooking vessels and food wraps being used.
